Interior Inspiration: Home Office
Recently I've been thinking about setting up a home office/studio, so many things have changed in my personal and work life and it's become clear I really need a separate work space. Currently I use my dining table and chair to work from which is not ideal, I actually used to have a desk setup in my spare room but got rid of it a few years ago and replaced it with a wardrobe! I'm now and probably will be working more from home, I'll still be in the office most days though. The other reason is that I've been feeling creative again and have got back into my painting and drawing and my dining table is currently covered in paints and canvases!
These are some of the images that I'm loving right now and will use as inspiration to create an office/studio space, some of you will have already seen these on my Pinterest board. It definitely has to have a white theme with white desk and shelves and a few colourful accessories, the idea of painting one wall sounds like a good idea too but quite like all white too, the ghost chair looks amazing in these images but it's really not pratical for sitting on all day, a white computer chair like the one in first image is exactly what I want. Love the sleek minimalist look that white gives, feels quite calming. I've seen a few things I want from Ikea and Dwell but still unsure!
I think I'll use my spare room where all my wardrobe and clothes/shoes are, so basically the room will be home office/studio and wardrobe area! I'm finding it really hard to think of a good layout that will fit everything, may have to get rid of a wardrobe... I'll keep you updated with what happens, might take a while though.
Are you thinking about creating a workspace or re-decorating?
Most images are from my favourite blogs MadeByGirl and Stylizimo, for individual image credit, please see images on my pinterest board here.
